Advantest TR4171 Spectrum Analyzer.
This Analyzer is a wide band, very sensitive receiver.
It works on the principle of "super heterodyne receiver" to convert higher frequencies (normally ranging up to several 10s of GHz) to measurable quantities.
The received frequency spectrum is slowly swept through a range of pre selected frequencies, converting the selected frequency to a measurable DC level (usually logarithmic scale), and displaying the same on the CRT of this unit.
The CRT displays received signal strength (y-axis) against frequency ( x-axis).
Specifications:
Dynamic Range: -999dBm
Frequency range: 10Hz to 120MHz

The Agilent 3582A Spectrum Analyzer is a wide band, very sensitive receiver. It works on the principle of "super-heterodyne receiver" to convert higher frequencies (normally ranging up to several 10s of GHz) to measurable quantities. The received frequency spectrum is slowly swept through a range of pre-selected frequencies, converting the selected frequency to a measurable DC level (usually logarithmic scale), and displaying the same on the CRT of the Agilent 3582A. The CRT displays received signal strength (y-axis) against frequency ( x-axis). Some applications for Agilent 3582A Spectrum Analyzers include Site Monitoring: Verify that the frequency and signal strength of your transmitter is accurate. Interference: Before a system is installed you use a Agilent 3582A spectrum analyzer to verify that the frequencies (you plan to use) are not occupied or if the presence of a very strong signal will interfere with your new setup. Interference can be created by a number of different situations. Other tests that utilize the Agilent 3582A spectrum analyzer features include antenna isolation, co-channel interference, adjacent channel power, occupied bandwidth, intermodulation, microwave or satellite antenna alignment, and characterization of components.

The Agilent 70310A precision frequency reference, is a 1 slot wide plug in module for the Agilent 70001A mainframe, it provides precision reference signals for use with Agilent 70000 systems and other instruments. System frequency accuracy is enhanced because the 10 MHz and 100 MHz reference signals provided by the Agilent 70310A are phase-locked to an internal ovenized oscillator, resulting in superb stability over both time and temperature. With a highly accurate and stable reference, you can find signals more quickly by tuning to very narrow spans.
- Precision 10 MHz and 100 MHz reference signals for use by Agilent 70000 systems and other instruments
- Improves reference aging rate, frequency accuracy, and measurement speed

HP Agilent 70621A Preamplifier: 100 kHz - 2.9 GHz
|
Home
|
|
|
The 70621A will boost the sensitivity of any Agilent 70000 series spectrum analyzer up to 2.9 GHz by 15 to 25 dB. System noise figures can be better than 8 dB at 2.9 GHz. Spurious testing can be slimmed from days to hours from the wider bandwidth that is useful due to the better sensitivity. Low-level signals from antennas will become visible as the noise floor is decreased. Broadband signal detection such as pulsed RF or electromagnetic interference is easier with a lower noise figure. Using the preamplifier is simple. Just install the preamplifier into the mainframe and hook up the cable. Whether in bypass mode or preamplifier mode, the system automatically calibrates the display of the analyzer.
- 100 kHz to 2.9 GHz
- Achieve -156 dBm sensitivity at 2.9 GHz
- Calibrated data on screen at all times
- Built-in bypass operation

The 8554B spectrum Analyzer RF Section covers the frequency range from 100kHz to 1250MHz. This board frequency coverage allows analysis from baseband through UHF navigation bands. Absolute amplitude calibration is maintained over the entire range. Some typical applications include power and frequency measurements on modulation, distortion and spurious outputs, frequency response measurements of filters, amplifiers, modulators and mixers. The analyzer can also be used to make noise measurements such as noise power density over a specified frequency band, carrier-to-noise ratio or swept noise figure measurement of amplifiers. With a calibrated antenna or current probe the analyzer can characterize broadband and narrowband signals encountered in EMI applications.
- High resolution to 100Hz
- Flat frequency response ±1 dB
- High sensitivity to -122 dBm (180 nV)
- Variable persistance display

The 89440A vector signal analyzer cover baseband through RF frequencies of dc to 1.8 GHz, in scalar and vector analysis modes. The scalar RF instrument mode allows full-frequency coverage in spans of 1798 MHz. Vector RF mode offers exceptional speed and additional signal processing for enhanced time-domain characterization and demodulation. Vector spans as wide as 7 MHz can be selected anywhere in the 1.8 GHz frequency range. In vector RF mode, both phase and amplitude characteristics are captured in the time-series data. This information can be processed for narrow resolution spectrum anaysis, AM/FM/PM demodulation, time-selective analysis, and may other types of mesurements.
