The HP 6286A is a 5.25" high half-rack power supply. It has separate coarse and fine voltage and current controls that
allow the voltage and current outputs to be varied from zero to the max rated value. The 6286A employs a
series-regulator/SCR-preregulator configuration to achieve the high efficiency necessary for a convection-cooled packaged
of this size. It also has excellent regulation, low ripple and noise, and moderate programming speeds.
